Next Step Mountaineering is a small company based in the scenic town of Huaraz, Peru. All of our technical climbs and courses have a 2-1 client to guide ratio, while all our non-technical climbs and treks have a 3-1client to guide ratio. We pride ourselves on small ratio attentive trips. As a company we feel having small highly supported trips not only offers a better experience but allows for better risk management, and more instructor to student attention. At Next Step Mountaineering our goal is to have everyone who completes a course, climb, or trek leave with more tips, tricks, and techniques to continue to grow and gain independence in alpine environments.  "Be a sponge!"
